      How do I find the LAN IP Address of a Windows 10 PC?

      The IP Address of your computer is the unique network address used to identify it to other computers or network devices on the network (either wired or WiFi). 

      Step-by-step guide

      To find your local IP Address

      1. Click on the Windows start menu and type CMD. Press the Enter Key.
      2. In the black Command Prompt window, type ipconfig and press the enter key. 
      3. Look for the entry that begins IPv4 Address - the IP address will be four numbers separated by dots (eg 10.0.2.15) in the picture below.

       

       

      You may have more than one IP address; eg if you are connected to a WiFi network and a Wired Network, or if you are using a VPN.
