How do I restart my Windows PC? (so it gets updated)

It's good practice to restart your PC reasonably regularly (at least weekly). This provides an opportunity for updates to apply and can also fix many problems.

How not to restart your PC

The following methods will not restart and update your PC:

1. Choosing Shut down or Sleep from Start Menu -> Power 
2. Closing the lid of your laptop
3. Pressing the power button quickly. 
4. Pressing and holding the power button for 5 seconds.

How to restart your PC

1. Click on Start Menu -> Power
2. Click on Restart
