1) To create a shortcut for a remote desktop, click on the search bar, type Remote Desktop Connection and click on the Remote Desktop Connection application.
2) In the prompted window, click on Show Options.
3) In the expanded window type the name of the device or the IP address of the computer you trying to remote to in the Computer section. In the Username type the username that must be used to login into the remote device (you can check the Allow me to save credentials if you would like them to be saved). Click on Save As...
4) Choose the location where you would like to save the shortcut, name it and click on Save.
5) Now you can access the remote desktop via the shortcut you just created.
