Once you've received your newly built macOS computer, please complete the following steps to validate things are set up as expected.
We use a number of automation tools to build and secure your macOS computer to a pre-agreed standard and continually work in the background to make improvements. Most of the time the technology that needs to work to build your machine and apply the security policies to protect your data works seamlessly. But the ever-changing nature of software, information security threats, and the variability of internet performance means that sometimes steps don't happen that are expected.
The following steps will help you familiarise yourself with your new Mac and ensure things are as we expect.

Sign into Company Portal

Open Managed Software Centre and check for updates

Sign in to Outlook

Open SharePoint and sync

Login into Box

Open Zoom and Teams and check if you can make calls share your screen with participants without issues.

Ask your manager for an Adobe account, open Adobe once received, and login into it (you might need our assistance with Adobe Creative Cloud login)
